Sometimes I get sad when I see a young person in a beautiful spot, and there face is stuck in a phone or tablet. For some reason, it makes me sadder than when i see an adult do the same thing. Because it's just as tragic.
And yet I'm not a technophobe. Technology has done incredible things to keep us connected. During the COVID pandemic, technology has been crucial in education, if unevenly dispersed along the lines of the wealth divide.
But I want to see more games and toys that engage technology as a creative tool, rather than just as a destination for content. These games and activities are doing a good job of just that.
